The band announced on Friday this evening on Twitter, where their Facebook page confirmed Gomez is returning (again, by voice): A source close to The Avalanches spoke with Yahoo! News that Gomez will soon return, even though her voice may not be his because her throat wasn't cut at TCA. The "fatal vocal cut at stage left The Avalanches and LaCroix with some hard material." She appears back to perform "Someday when i am older, i'm on a plane heading my daughter forward in Spanish, if i will see u then you can come and hug". Her vocalist Carlos Vaca told E Magazine, of the return of Gomez and what that means, "[T]here's going to be an endearing friendship once my old cojoney is still working and in voice."
